Purchase/Transactional Targeting

Purchase/transactional targeting, or purchase behavior targeting, is based on a user’s purchase history. This specialized targeting tactic uses several point-of-sale tracking methods from leading data vendors to identify when and what products consumers are purchasing. Data is collected from credit card data, retailer apps, loyalty cards, or email purchase receipts. Engaging users in similar product lines, highlighting new ones, and upselling existing and/or current buyers, purchase/transactional targeting creates lasting results in brand loyalty and awareness.
